U.S. State debts & bankruptcy:
-
-
The U.S. Government should raise the retirement age to 200, that way our government won’t have to pay any retirement benefits TO ANYONE, L.O.L. And with those extra trillions of dollars we can bailout our State debts and spend the rest in the Middle East.
-
The National of Israel will encourage Christians in the U.S. to start more “unholy wars") in the Middle East; with our Israeli motto “If you really want to please us, kill an Arab for Jesus”, and at the same time “Bankrupt” America financially in the process (our one world government goal)
-
Our Creator God is very much ashamed with individuals or nations who would kill others and presume they are righteous before God in doing so!!! REPENT
-
Sincerely,

The following was posted by Paul: "On Nov. 28 MO made a comment that ” the citizens in socialist/communist countries just keep getting poorer.” First, he (she) generalized far too much. He is lumping socialism and communism together as if they are one and the same. They ARE NOT–they are vastly different political systems. I happen to be an American citizen who has lived in socialist Denmark for over 6 years. There are some good benefits to be had in a socialist country, but they are paid for with high taxes. The citizens of Denmark ARE NOT getting poorer and poorer, as he/she implied. Do your homework next time."
I think it best if when telling someone how uninformed they are, you at least be properly informed yourself. America is NOT Denmark. Obama is NOT Rasmussen. High taxes are fine if they are used properly; I commend the Danish government for managing their economy well, but Obama isn't doing the same thing.

MO, on 05 Nov 08, wrote on this website:

"US – prepare to be financially devastated. The US was going to be poorer anyways – neither Obama nor McCain could fix the economy no matter how much they might try tinkering with it. But now with Obama you will be giving MORE money to the government, and guess what? You’re NOT going to get any of it back. Not in cash, and not in services. You are just gonna be poorer. Contrary to what you’ve been told.
Haven’t Obama supporters noticed how the citizens in socialist/communist countries just keep getting poorer and poorer as time goes by?
You trust the government to take care of you? No matter who had won, the government is NOT going to “take care of you”. Except in a bad way."

Now, nearly 2 years later, we have learned how far off he was--yes, he grossly UNDERSTATED the problem. Now $13T in debt (plus another $130T in obligations such as Social Security), with some 60% of Americans feeding off the blood and sweat of the other 40% who pay taxes, with the Fed government in control of over 50% of what used to be private industry, and the Radical Left in charge of our government seeking to pass, before Nov 2010, cap and tax, amnesty for illegal immigrants (i.e., 20M criminals who will owe instant legality to Obama), and a "Wall Street regulatory reform bill" (i.e., the further extension of Federal government control of private industry), the United States has little chance of survival in any sort of representative republic form without BOTH wholesale changes in the makeup of all of government, drastic reduction in government, drastic spending cuts, substantial tax cuts, a fully secure border and removal of criminal illegals, and a restoration of the Constitution. I hold out NO hope of this happening, as both the Democrats and Republicans are morally bankrupt thieves and political whores who will do all they can to sell the soul of this once great Nation in exchange for the personal accumulation of wealth and power.

Ja Rule, I appreciate your comment but thank God only 15 percent claim to be liberal in the US. And it would not like be stealing from yourself. It is stealing from our children, our grand children and our great-grand children. The current administration along with all spineless leaders of the last 45 years have put this country on a collision course of unsustainable government spending. When the bill comes due our economy will collapse unless we vote out all the corrupt politicians (that includes democrats and republicans) and put in office financially responsible leaders who will stop spending money we don't have. By the way, LOCUST, you are an idiot. Andrii and Anat--please put you comments in english so us Americans can understand what you are saying. Thank you and good night!!

This is great info on this site, I'm laying out a strategy for the coming revolution and ethnic cleansing that's just around the corner, once the economy collapses, and deflation leads to stagnation and finally hyperinflation, wow, I need more ammo, lots of people out there that need some dispatching to hell. Lets not F* around here we all know this system cannot last, its unstable, unsustainable, and eventually our huge population of 3rd worlders will eat this system alive, and when the government has collapsed and the ebt and food stamps stop coming, they will eat us alive, I don't plan on being the main course. Prepare for whats coming, for once we true Americans retake our nation, all you 3rd worlders, and you know who you are, there's going to be some hell to pay!

This map just shows me how easy it will be to retake the White House in 3 years. Obama hasn't done anything but print money ad burn it into a political machine. I guess I'm not against a more socializes system, I just didn't want Obama spending trillions of dollars (more money than all of the other Presidents combined) to do it. I'm a republic and I'm only 20 years old. I'm afraid of what I'll be paying in taxes and making up for after this reckless spending is over and when I'm in my 40's. Whoever believed Obama would not raise taxes (close to 60% of the nation) has clearly never read a history book. Shouldn't everyone know by now that liberals take from those who have achieved their American Dream and try to give to people who sometimes don't deserve it (some people really do need the help and we all know that). Shouldn't people know that what liberals do is raise taxes and think of ways of adding size to government. And finally, shouldn't people know that both parties are out to help people, not just the democrats. I think it would be cynical to say that republicans don't want to help people, because that's not written on their ticket at all.

A socialist environment that throws away billions of dollars a year doesn't need to exist when our current form of government has sufficed for over 230 years. Streamline our process, update our laws, and govern like just human beings. Yes, Socialism gives back to those in need, but so do honest hard working Americans that live in a democratic society. The move towards a more equal society is never what the United States has wanted. We have even fought wars over such things. I think all Americans should take a step back at their own family history's and see what their families have directly given for the sake of the U.S. still being a democratic and free country. A country that was built for competition and free market. A country that was built for the pursuit of happiness and not for those wanting to take away your choices, liberties, and pursuit to keep your own happiness.

On Nov. 28 MO made a comment that " the citizens in socialist/communist countries just keep getting poorer." First, he (she) generalized far too much. He is lumping socialism and communism together as if they are one and the same. They ARE NOT--they are vastly different political systems. I happen to be an American citizen who has lived in socialist Denmark for over 6 years. There are some good benefits to be had in a socialist country, but they are paid for with high taxes. The citizens of Denmark ARE NOT getting poorer and poorer, as he/she implied. Do your homework next time.

I would submit that the previous person (#10) shows exactly what is wrong with the liberal mindset.

I would certainly agree that people need to be less ignorant…

And it’s true that President Obama has come into a very difficult situation. But it is a situation that is not the making of one party or another. There are economic legacies from every administration back to FDR affecting our current situation.

Our current situation is indicative of a whole political system that has lost focus on its original purpose. The differences between the two major political parties used to be more about different philosophies in how to go about accomplishing the same basic goals for our nation. Since the 1960s, however, it seems to have changed into a fundamental difference in the perceived role of government in the lives of US citizens. For conservative minded people, the Federal Government’s role is to ensure citizens an equal opportunity for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. For liberally minded people, the Federal Government’s role seems to be ensuring citizens an equal lifestyle – even at the expense of a disproportionate segment of its citizenry. Beyond the fact that this is expectation is not economically sustainable, it’s just not fair.

No, government does not need to “step in and take control” of the foreclosure mess. In fact, it was government stepping in and forcing the lending institutions to grant questionable mortgages that played a huge role in getting us into this mess in the first place. True, some lending institutions then leveraged those mortgages in irresponsible and unsustainable ways. But it’s safe to say that no responsible lending institution would have been granting loans to people who had no legitimate way to pay them back without a government gun to their heads. But that gun was placed to their heads by ACORN and other liberal activist groups lobbying their representatives in the name of “making the American Dream accessible to everyone.”

This leads us back to the difference in the perceived role of government and the to the all-too-common end-result of that difference in perception. Liberal policies have consistently lead to the institution of widespread, but unsustainable, financial situations all across the US. It’s the age-old story of unintended results from well-intended efforts. Some would suggest that liberal politicians attempt wealth redistribution because it buys them voting blocks for future elections. Some would say that they have a higher vision for our nation. I think that it’s an inherent arrogance that leads them to believe that people just can’t make it on their own so they need government to save them and take over their lives. Make no mistake, we’re potentially entering a new generation of slavery. If you’re dependent on the government for your well-being, you are enslaved to them and you will have to do whatever they tell you to do. In my mind, that’s not equal opportunity, that’s not freedom and it’s sure as the world not the American Dream.

And for the record, I’ve done my own research and I’ve drawn my own conclusions on this…I used to be a liberal. But look at the maps. Most of the US Counties have citizens (White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc) who go out and work and make their small cities, towns and communities work. These people feel less vulnerable because they are not trapped in an urban situation that is so dependent on government services. People in large urban areas often feel more dependant on government because they rely on public transportation, public water, public sewer, public waste disposal, and other public services. Some rely heavily on public housing and other so-called entitlement programs. It’s no wonder that so many urban voters tend to vote liberal – they perceive themselves (consciously or subconsciously) to be more dependant on government in their everyday lives. If someone cuts off the power and water in the country (or even in a small city or town) for a day it’s not that big a deal. If that happens in the city it’s cause for rioting…we've seen it time and again. So government is a big security blanket for the urban mindset. “The government’s going take care of me…” so urban voters tend to vote for bigger government – who cares how we’re going to pay for it, it’s all free money anyway…right? But is that freedom???
