Prediction, not results
Before any votes have been cast, David Leip’s US Election Atlas predicts Hillary Clinton will win the Democratic nomination and John McCain will win the Republican nomination.
Hillary Clinton defeats Barack Obama and wins the majority of the states. Most states are won by narrow margins and the delegates count is very close.
John McCain defeats Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee by winning the states across the country, including the delegate rich states in the Northeast, California and Texas. Mike Huckabee will do well in the South East, while Mitt Romney will do well out West.
