The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has put together a map showing how Georgia’s counties have voted for president between 1992 and 2012. Click through for an interactive map.

Georgia has not always been a safe red state, however. Bill Clinton won the state of Georgia in the 1992 race. Even in the latter part of the 1990s, vote shares for the Republicans and Democrats were close to each other.
