2008 Electoral Map Predictions: 10-7-2008
Oct 7th, 2008Only four weeks until election day and recent polling suggests Barack Obama would win in a landslide if the election was held today. John McCain’s now finds himself having to defend many states that went for Bush in 2004, including Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Iowa, Virginia, New Mexico, North Carolina, Missouri, and Indiana. It is likely that Obama’s current numbers drop some and the race will tighten, but McCain’s chances of winning are looking very slim. There are two remaining debates (including one tonight), which offer McCain an opportunity to change the course of the race and there is always the chance for some kind of “October Surprise”.
